It certainly has been an adventure, after discovering a leak somewhere at the back of the camper last night, we called NuCamp this morning. We explained where the water was, on the bed, and the technician told us that it was probably coming from around the window and that either the seal or whole window will need replaced. So, maybe an easier fix than we originally anticipated.
But, when it rains, it pours, because when we went to get the bikes off the camper in Davenport to ride the River Trail along the Mississippi, we discovered that the bike rack was broken. It must have happened on some bumpy road after our ride yesterday.

We are very lucky we stopped to ride today and noticed it, because if it had cracked off while we were on the freeway going 70+ mph it could have been disastrous.
We dismantled the bike rack, rearranged stuff in the bed of the truck and moved some stuff into the camper so we could put the bikes in the truck bed for the rest of the ride home. Feeling lucky these things happened at the end of the adventure.
We got our ride in along the Mississippi, not the prettiest trail we’ve ever ridden, but interesting.

This is the last post. We will be home for dinner tonight. Thanks for tagging along!!!
